Palate	Sweetness – dry Acidity – medium (+) Tannin – high Alcohol – high Flavour characteristics – Primary: black cherry, black plum, pepper Secondary: cedar, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, pepper Tertiary: not noticeable, primary fruit & spice still dominant Finish – medium (+)
Assessmentof quality	Good – primary fruit flavours and spice dominate. Still a relatively young wine for a Northern Rhône Syrah and will develop more complexity
